Karen Sonin has been teaching vinyasa styles of yoga since 2013 and practicing for more than 15 years. She graduated with a 200 hour certificate from LifePower Yoga and a 300 hour certificate from Kindness Yoga. She is registered as a 500 RYT with Yoga Alliance. Karen also has training in Kids, Teen/Tween and Restorative yogas. Karen leads classes emphasizing the power of breath and it’s ability to connect our bodies and minds all while having fun. It’s common to find her students laughing together while in class. She wants you to walk off the mat and into the world with a feeling of warmth in your heart and strength in your mind and body.
Karen’s mission is to make the world a more peaceful place one student at time by helping everyone, young and not-so-young, to realize we are all connected to each other and the world; and we find this amazing connection through our breath. She also hopes her students will yearn for their next opportunity to be on their mats, whether in her class, another class or in the comfort of their own home and to make yoga a life-long habit.
